Fresno Jr Hockey Club Receives Grant
Fresno Jr Hockey Club is proud to announce that we have been selected to receive a $20,000 grant from Dick’s Sporting Goods, as part of Dick’s Sports Matter Program. Brian Alamano, Dick’s Sporting Goods’ Central Valley Community Marketing Manager, and our Vice President, Stan Dolan, have been working closely over the past few months to build this unprecedented partnership.
This grant is the largest single-store grant Dick’s has awarded recently in Central California. The funding will be used to enhance and expand our hockey initiation and development programming. For example, part of the funding will be used to purchase additional hockey gear, training aids, coaching materials, and add a Try Hockey For Free event exclusively for girls.
